Joseph Odindo was born in a small village in North West Ugenya in Kenya. His father, named Dominic Odindo Adiala proudly supported his son with the pursued of Joseph’s education and his interest in journalism.
Joseph Odindo has had a number of positions, as reporter and television critic. One of those positions was the post of Group Managing Editor of NMG. In this position, Odindo wields considerable influence and presides over the largest stable of newspapers in the region notably the Daily Nation, Sunday Nation, East African and Business Daily.
The Daily Nation is Kenya’s leading newspaper is a division of Nation Media Group (NMG) and was founded by His Highness the Aga Khan in 1959. The newspaper has become the largest independent media house in East and Central Africa.
In his career now, Joseph Odindo is a group managing editor, leading multi-media house in the East African region, it has print as well as electronic media and the digital platforms.
